God calls us to love our neighbors. The Faith & Finances program can help pastors, lay leaders, and ministries answer that call.
This Fall, individuals from your church or ministry have the opportunity to get certified to lead the Faith & Finances course by attending a facilitator training at MCUTS. Faith & Finances is a nationally-renowned curriculum that helps you minister to adults and families, particularly from low-income communities, who want to grow in their money management practices and understanding of biblical stewardship.
Cost to audit for those not taking the course for credit is $300. Class will meet from 6-10 p.m. on Thursday nights from November 12th through December 10th. Deadline to register is November 6th!!! Email Michael Rhodes at firstname.lastname@example.org to sign up or for more info.
By attending this facilitator certification course, you will:
- Learn how to disciple members in a biblical approach to saving, giving, and budgeting, and reach out to your community through financial education.
- Get certified to teach a 12 session Faith & Finances course in your church/ministry.
- Create a plan to offer a holistic ministry approach to financial education that is particularly targeted to empower low-income adults and families.
